Economic Sovereignty and Ayni
Community tourism has redefined our subsistence structure. Previously, dependence on external intermediaries diluted economic benefits. Today, we operate under the ancestral principle of Ayni (reciprocity), ensuring that funds from your visit are injected directly into the matrix of the 17 founding families of Misminay.
This direct operation model eliminates corporate extractivism. Every meal you consume, every textile you purchase, and every night you spend in our homes translates into direct resources for the agricultural development of the community and the education of new generations.
Women's Empowerment
Textiles and gastronomy, traditionally led by the women of Misminay, have consolidated as the primary economic engines of the ecosystem. This has triggered unprecedented financial independence, positioning Andean masters as administrative leaders within the association's structure.
Heritage Conservation
Our vision does not include massification. We mathematically control operational capacity to ensure a zero marginal cost impact on our geography. The tourism we practice is a vehicle to safeguard adobe architecture, terrace planting, and the purity of our night sky.
